Passionate about delivering a professional, practical, and flexible HR solution, Sharron Clow started Legacy Strategies in January 2016.
Sharron’s background is in HR and Learning & Development with over 20 years’ experience working for high profile companies and projects in the UK.
Taking her experience and leadership skills, Sharron and her team help businesses and projects to gain a deeper understanding and greater self-awareness of how they are operating. It is difficult for organisations and businesses to do this objectively, but it is critical to their on-going success and relevance in the market place – improving the way they work and treat employees and gaining the respect and appreciation of staff demonstrates that you are an employer of choice.

Taking her experience and leadership skills, Sharron and her team help businesses and projects to gain a deeper understanding and greater self-awareness of how they are operating. It is difficult for organisations and businesses to do this objectively, but it is critical to their ongoing success and relevance in the marketplace.
Sharron started Legacy Strategies in January 2016 as a Recruitment & HR Consultancy. She had previously worked for numerous large infrastructure companies and been involved in both small projects and world class major infrastructure projects. She has gained the skills and knowledge not only through being trained up to Level 7 CIPD HR & Recruitment but also working in the construction and rail sector for over 20 years giving her competitive advantage where she knows and understands the roles and requirements of our clients. Sharron is passionate about getting local people into roles and supporting the communities in which they work. Legacy has a Social Investment Fund where they put back money to support local charities or towards Social Value initiatives. Sharron is also a Social Value Pioneer and has worked in CSR/Social Value for over 10 years.
Recruitment & HR Consultant
Ria brings over 6 years of Recruitment & HR experience in the Construction and Logistics industries. She excels in recruiting roles from apprentices to senior positions, ensuring successful outcomes for both clients and candidates.
With extensive HR management expertise in large-scale construction projects around London, Ria eagerly anticipates collaborating with our HR Clients on exciting projects in the East of England.
Ria’s particular enthusiasm lies in recruiting and mentoring apprentices, making her a key asset at Legacy where we focus on apprenticeship recruitment and mentoring for our clients.

Eden began her Business Apprenticeship journey with Legacy Strategies in July 2023, and she has been truly enjoying the experience as she delves into three core aspects of the company: HR, Recruitment, and Social Value. Among these, she has developed a particular passion for recruitment and aspires to pursue it further once her apprenticeship concludes. Eden actively engages in our apprenticeship assessment centres and finds great enjoyment in participating.

Recruiter / Office Manager
Jacqui joined Legacy Strategies in May 2022. Prior to this she held roles such as Corporate Customer Services Advisor within Essex County Council, this involved organising and delivering a regular drop in Job Club within the library environment, offering the community access to CV help and general help and guidance in returning to the workplace. She also delivered a regular weekly ‘Learn My Way’ computer/IT course for introducing basic computer skills to complete beginners within a diverse range of people from varying backgrounds and ages. An avid diabetes rights campaigner since 2001 following the diagnosis of her young son, she founded an online support and advice group for the parents and carers of children with type 1 insulin dependent diabetes, which to date has grown to in excess of 9000 members.

We want to help local people in the areas in which we work to gain valuable employment, to take part in work experience opportunities and through working with our clients and our Social Investment Fund we can put back money into the local communities for any CSR or charitable initiatives.

In relation to social benefits our social investment fund gives back into our clients’ local communities and raises their status as being a company that made a real difference. Through our value creation not only are we keeping our rates at a low level but collectively with our clients we are seeing the emotional benefits of what we do.
